All Products can be purchased at www.macphersoncrafts.com

Premixed Coloured Paints: Ready to use right from the bottle. Pigments are translucent, ideal for layering or glazing although some artists do like to add Paint Emulsion for a more transparent layering method. These paints are very thin and free flowing allowing for easy application of thin layers. The paints enhanced, concentrated binders will allow you to add 25% distilled water without affecting its strong adhesion properties. Available in 1 oz bottles
Paint Emulsion: This is basically paint with no pigment. It contains strong binders to enhance its adhesion to vinyl. It dries to a mat sheen. It has a thin consistency but is not runny. This emulsion can be used to add more transparency to the premixed colour paint line or used to make your own paints with the concentrated pigment paint line. Available in 1 oz and 4 oz bottles. You can add as much or as little paint to it as you need. Available in 1 and 4 oz. bottles
Concentrated pigments: These paints can be used to mix your own paint colors in combination with our paint medium or add more pigment to our premixed coloured paints. These paints are available in 4ml glass drop jars. The pigments are very thick and are ment to be added to the emulsion, premixed paints or thinned with diluent before application.
Diluent: Used to dilute the concentrated pigments or to increase fluid flow to a more watery consistency. Can be used as a thinner adding up to 60% to the premixed 1 oz paints or can add to the concentrated pigments. The Diluent does contain binders but not as much as the emulsion or premixed paints contain. Available in 1 oz and 4 oz bottles
Primer: Applied onto the vinyl before painting. The primer helps to seal in the vinyl oils, prevents paint color pigments from seeping in to the vinyl that could cause fading or discoloration as it ages. The Primer also adds a stronger surface adhesion (tooth)for the paints. Apply a thin layer as thicker layers may result in a tacky feeling, taking it longer to cure. This primer has excellent flexibility property for using on soft vinyl. Apply with a damp sponge for easy spreading onto surface. Wipe out any puddles increases, in-between digits etc. Available in 1 and 4 oz. bottles
Sealer: This step is recommended before applying your varnish at the end. It helps to bind, seal in and prevent fading. The sealer contains matting agents but may leave a slight sheen when dry. Matting fluid can be applied on top after dry to get rid of sheen. f you decide not to use a varnish then 2 coats of Sealer is recommended. Available in 1 and 4 oz.
Varnish: This is an optional step. It is applied at the end (last step) and should not be applied until paints are thoroughly dried. Recommended time to allow paints to dry before applying varnish is 12 hours. Adds a flexible barrier or protection to help resist scratches from happening. It also contains a UV protection agent. It is available in Matte, Satin and Gloss. The Matte does have a slight sheen once dry. The Gloss adds a glass/wet look effect which is great for nails and lips. Varnish may be applied to large areas with a soft flat brush and then lightly pounced with a cosmetic sponge to get rid of brush marks. Remove any puddles increases etc. A thin application is recommended. If a second coat is required wait about an hour before applying. If the undercoat is not dry the second coat will take on a waxy, blotchy look. Do not force dry with a dryer as the varnishes contain self levelling agents requiring regular temperature and time for levelling to occur. The self levelling agent helps to get rid of any brush/sponge marks left from application. Varnishes should be gently stirred or mixed to prevent bubbles from occurring. To remove varnish within a 24 hour period; apply an alkaline solvent such as ammonia. The sealed painted surface will remain undamaged if this is done carefully with light pressure. The varnishes are a water based acrylic polymer. This allows for easy clean up with soap and water. 1 oz bottles
Correction fluid: Allows you to remove the paint after drying up to a 6 hour period. Easily remove unwanted marks by rubbing the fluid onto the spot you want to remove. Light pressure required for errors removed within 20 min. Removal after a 1 hour period: apply fluid to area and let sit for a few min. then apply pressure as needed to remove the paint. Available in 1 oz bottles
Open Time fluid: Extends the time to paint and blend before drying. Your open/wet working time does depend on environmental conditions such as temperature, air circulation and humidity. Start by using a few drops to your paint and add up to 25% to your paint if more open/wet working time is needed with your painting method. Note to much open time may result in tackiness for a longer period of time before thoroughly drying. Ensure your coating is dry before adding another layer containing the open time fluid. Available in 1 oz bottles
Matting fluid: This medium will get rid of any shine left from other mediums or paint. Can be applied at any time during the painting process. Ensure paint is dry before applying and apply in thin layers. You can apply as many layers as you wish, just ensure each layer is dry before applying the next. Available in 1 and 4 oz. bottles
2n1 Final Coat: A liquid air dry plastic coat made to adhere and flex with vinyls and plastics
It is a permanent coat once dried. Basic cleaning products and disinfectants will not
remove or effect it. It is great to apply on your reborns used for palydolls, hospitals or
institutions where cleaning and disinfecting is a routine.Application: Stir thoroughly. Recommend to apply in thin coats with a dense sponge using light pressure for pouncing and spreading. Blend or smooth out any marks as you apply. 1 layer is sufficient for sealing in your paints. 2 or more layers are recommended for added protection and further matting effect. Dries Clear. Wet brush or sponge lines, edges blend easily with no overlapping milky streaks. May be extended or thinned with 25% distilled water but too much water will reduce the flat/matte effect when dry. To clean up, use warm water and soap on tools and hands. Dry time varies with each environment condition. In average humidity environments this product can dry to the touch with in minutes. It can be handled within 2 hours. For the hardest finish, cure time is 24 to 36 hours. Low temperatures and high humidity will
lengthen drying times. Can be used with waterbased powder pigments. Just add water to desired consistency and color.

3D Medium: The RebornFX 3D medium is air dry but can be used with both air dry paints and heat set paints. The medium is very light and soft to maneuver. Dries to a very strong bond with durability on vinyl. The softness of the 3D medium in it's wet stage enables smooth application but allows a brush to leave hair like marks in the medium when used for 3D hair texture. It's viscosity holds a soft peak making it great for using as newborn milia bumps or for enhancing nail tips. Medium dries to the touch within 20 to 30 minutes. Drying time can be reduced by using a low heat hair drier on it.
The ReBornFX 3D medium dries to a semi transparent light ivory flesh color. It adheres to the ReBornFX air Dry Paints and to heat set Genesis paints. This medium can also be painted once dried with either air dry paints or heat set paints. Washes up with soap and water when wet.

Have fun and remember to shake the paints and mediums before use. We decided not to add in thickeners or gels to prevent separation in order to achieve thin layers during application. A simple shake of the jar will mix them well and keep the thin consistency and fluidity of the paints.

  1. Is it safe to bake these paints? I was asked to customly paint hair on a doll that was made using these paints but I use GHSP so I need to bake in my varnish and hair, is it safe to do so?

    1. Yes, the paints will withstand the heatset temperatures of the GHSP. I have applied GHSP mediums/varnish and heat set over the paints many times, as some of my customers request it. Just try to use no or very little solvent in the GHSP.
